§ Mr. Frederick LeeFigures on a comparable basis are not readily available for the whole of the period, but between 1958 and 1964, sales of electricity by Electricity Boards in England and Wales increased by 66 per cent. and the manpower of the Central Electricity Generating Board increased by about 23 per cent.
