§ Mr. CroslandAt present no technical colleges offer courses of initial training. As however my hon. Friend knows, I believe the technical colleges can make a valuable contribution to this work. I 45W have been examining some of the problems involved and I hope soon to invite a number of authorities to establish education departments in a few of the leading colleges.
