§ Mr. PrenticeThe Council's Common Cold Research Unit is continuing its collaborative studies but the preparation of a vaccine against the common cold presents a particularly difficult research problem and progress is likely to be slow. An account of the present position of research on the common cold, including the feasibility of vaccination against such infection, is contained in the Report of the Medical Research Council, 1963–65 (Cmnd. 2787).
