§ Mr. Walter Harrisonasked the Minister of Power what changes there have been in the membership of the Gas Council since 15th October, 1964; and if he will indicate the residual service and age of each present member of the Council, both full-time and part-time.
§ Mr. Frederick LeeSir Henry Jones, Chairman of the Gas Council, was reappointed for a further term of five years with effect from 1st January, 1965. Sir Kenneth Hutchison, Deputy Chairman of the Gas Council, was re-appointed for a further term of four years with effect from 1st January, 1965.
Mr. Sydney Smith, Chairman of the Scottish Gas Board, retired on the 2nd November, 1965, and was succeeded by Mr. W. R. Branson. Mr. R. N. B. D. Bruce, Chairman of the South Eastern Gas Board, was re-appointed for a further period of five years with effect from 1st January, 1965.
