§ Mr. Tom FraserFigures of the railways' gross fixed capital formation at current prices are published for the years 1954 to 1964 in Table 56 of the Blue Book "National Income and Expenditure: 1965" and for 1953 in Table 63 79W of the corresponding publication for 1964. The Central Statistical Office advise me that corresponding figures at 1958 prices and estimates of capital consumption are not available and that to obtain them would require a disproportionate amount of work.
