§ Mr. MellishLocal authorities in England and Wales received Exchequer contributions for the conversion and improvement of 32,368 of their own dwellings in 1964. Of these, 836 were in the county of Norfolk. My right hon. Friend estimates that over half a million houses belonging to local authorities remain unmodernised, but he cannot say how many of these are in Norfolk.
