§ Mr. John MorrisI understand from the National Coal Board that about 3,900, 4,300, 2,200 and 1,500 miners were made redundant in the periods mentioned. Separate figures are not available for administrative staff and officials, but the numbers of non-industrial staff declined in the same periods by about 2,000, 300, 200 and 1,100, respectively.
