§ Mr. Tom FraserAbout 1,300 candidates are awaiting test at the West Hartlepool Centre. The waiting period has varied, and was recently as high as 24½ weeks. Some adjustment of programmes has, therefore, been made. This, and the availability in the near future of an extra examiner, should reduce the waiting period to about the national average of 15 weeks.
