§ Mr. George ThomsonYes. I am told that five capped wells in Eastern Cyrenaica were blown up on the 14th of May and that four of the wells caught fire. The oil field concerned is operated by a Libyan company, British Petroleum Exploration (Libya), which in turn is owned by British Petroleum and the Nelson Bunker Hunt Corporation of the United States of America. The security of oil installations in Libya is a question for the Libyan authorities and the company concerned.
