Mr. Pavittasked the Minister of Health whether he is aware that corporate bodies representing ophthalmic practices have no direct representation on the General Optical Council although they are responsible for about one-third of all the ophthalmic practices providing National Health Service facilities; and what representations he has received from these bodies through their associations on this matter.
