§ Mr. Evelyn Kingasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will make available additional subsidies under Section 3 (2) (d) of the 131W Housing (Financial Provisions) Act, 1958, as re-enacted in Section 3 (2) (a) of the Housing Act, 1961, for dwellings provided to meet the urgent needs of industry in order to assist the provision of dwellings for key workers suitable to be employed at Vickers' factory in Weymouth and similar factories in South Dorset.
§ Mr. MellishMy right hon. Friend is always prepared to consider applications under Section 3 (2) (a) of the 1961 Act on their merits. No applications from South Dorset have been received for several years.
