§ Sir George Sinclairasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) whether he will now review public service pensions to enable them to keep their full purchasing power, instead of being eroded by the rising cost of living;
(2) whether he will now bring past Service pensions, especially those of older pensioners, closer to the Service pension rates of those now retiring, in view of the rise in the cost of living and the recent increases in National Insurance benefit.
