§ 2. Mr. Hannanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland, in view of the conflicting advice given to industry and public bodies by fire insurance companies and fire service prevention officers, if he will consult the appropriate authorities with a view to adopting a uniform code of requirements and responsibility.
§ Mr. RossRequirements vary within different areas. The British Insurance Association, however, is taking steps to set up local fire prevention panels, on which the fire insurance companies, the fire services, and industry will be represented and where these matters can be discussed.
