Mr. Astorasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance if she is aware of the hardship to women whose husbands are permanently disabled, owing to the earnings limit of 50s.; and if she will amend the regulations to bring them into line with those governing the payment of widows' pensions.
§ Miss HerbisonThis is a matter which will be carefully considered in the course of our review of the National Insurance Scheme. Legislation would be required to alter the present rule.
