§ Mr. BoydenThe estimated total cost is £57,000. This includes £8,000 for the demolition of No. 5, and the renovations to Nos. 6 and 7 Old Palace Yard; £4,000 for the Jewel Tower and £45,000 for the layout of Abingdon Street Garden and the Westminster Jewel Tower site, and for the extension of the open space to the King George V Memorial.
Neither the Westminster City Council nor the Greater London Council contributed to the cost of this work. The Westminster City Council were responsible for a small area of the paving.
