Mr. John Robertson

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what was the number of rooms per 1,000 inhabitants provided by houses built during each of the years from 1957 to 1963, inclusive, in Scotland;

(2) what was the average number of rooms in houses built during each of the years from 1957 to 1963, inclusive, in Scotland.

I regret that I have no information about the number of occupants of houses built in these years. The following table gives the best available particulars of numbers of rooms:
