§ Mr. Crowderasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will introduce legislation to enable courts to impose a suspended sentence in cases where the convicted person has been placed on probation, in the event of there being a breach of the probation order, the suspended sentence to be subject to confirmation by the appropriate court.
