§ Mr. George ThomasMy right hon. and learned Friend has received very few representations about dangerous toys. Most toy manufacturers and importers are concerned to comply with the recommendations regarding the safe design of toys included in the appropriate British Standard (B.S. 3443 of 1961), and regulations giving statutory backing to the more important of these recommendations are now being prepared. I am writing to my hon. Friend about the report he has submitted.
