§ Mr. PadleyAs my right hon. Friend informed the House on 1st February, the Spanish reply to our Note of protest of 11th January was contained in a Note received on 18th January. No substantive reply has yet been received from the Spanish Government to the protest against the further restrictions, to which my right hon. Friend referred in the answer he gave to my hon. Friend and the hon. Member for Bristol, North-West (Mr. McLaren) on 1st March.
