§ Mr. Frederick LeeThe Exchequer is currently providing 55 per cent. of the electricity industry's capital requirements for England and Wales of about £650 million per annum and for the foreseeable future I think it would be wrong to aim at any increase in this proportion. On the general considerations affecting the prices of nationalised industries I would refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my right hon. Friend the First Secretary of State to the hon. Member for Tynemouth on the 4th February.
