§ Mr. Tilneyasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, since more than 30 percent. of the students who achieve two or more A Level passes in England and Wales fail to obtain 99W admission to universities in Great Britain, he will seek to arrange, by agreement with Commonwealth Governments, to take up vacancies in Commonwealth universities for those properly qualified.
§ Mr. CroslandI note the hon. Member's suggestion, but do not consider it necessary to pursue it in view of the wide range of higher education facilities in leading technical and other colleges which are available to such students in this country.
