§ Mr. HoyMy Department contributes up to 75 percent. of the losses incurred by smallholdings authorities in improving their existing full-time holdings, and I am always ready to consider requests for such assistance. It seems to me that, until the Wise Committee's report is available, it is better to spend money on this than on creating new smallholdings.
