§ Mr. LoughlinCervical smears are taken at clinics in the East and West Cumberland hospital groups and also by general practitioners in the area. My right hon. Friend expects to be able very shortly to approve proposals from Carlisle and Cumberland local health authorities to provide a routine screening service.
