§ The Prime MinisterPrime responsibility for relations with the United320W Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation was transferred from the Department of Education and Science to the Ministry of Overseas Development because of the growing importance of aid and technical assistance in the activities of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation. The National Commission is an integral part of our arrangements for maintaining relations with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, and it is therefore appropriate that responsibility for it also should have been transferred to the Ministry of Overseas Development.
