§ 47. Dame Irene Wardasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, if, following his review of Government policy for the arts, and the visit of his Parliamentary Secretary to the North-East, he will make an annual grant to the North-Eastern Association for Arts, in order to ensure the survival of the Stone Art Gallery.
§ Miss Jennie LeeGrants to the North-Eastern Association for Arts are made through the Arts Council. It is for the 301W Arts Council to decide the size of these grants and for the North-Eastern Association itself to decide on their distribution.
