§ Mr. Chapmanasked the Minister of Overseas Development what action she proposes to take in order to bring within the scope of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1962, overseas service pensioners who served in countries where there have been no general salaries revisions for a number of years.
§ Mrs. CastleThe Overseas Service (Pensions Supplement) Regulations, 1963, will be amended shortly to apply the provisions of the Pensions (Increase) Act, 1962, to overseas service pensioners of ten countries where there have been no general salaries revisions for five years or more. The countries concerned are: Gambia, Ghana, Hong Kong, Jamaica, Malaya, Malta, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Trinidad and the former West Indies Federation.
