§ Mr. CallaghanThe number of cars exported in 1964 was 679,383 compared with 616,016 in 1963. This was an increase of 10 per cent. The rate of production of cars increased by 14 per cent. between the two years. Thus the proportion exported fell a little between 1963 and 1964.
