Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is 271W aware of the fisheries dispute in Aberdeen which has kept in port the Aberdeen trawler fleet with loss and damage to the industry and loss of employment to the workers in it; and what steps he has taken to bring it to an end.
§ Mr. RossAs my hon. and learned Friend will know, the trawler fleet put to set on 9th January while negotiations continued between the trawler owners and the skipper and mates. Agreement was subsequently reached between the parties.
