Mr. Doddsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government, in view of the difficulties involved in providing facilities for the growing number of motorised shoppers in existing town centres, what consideration has been given to providing out-of-town regional shopping centres with car-parking facilities; and what proposals he has to encourage this form of development on an experimental basis in rural areas in the near future.
§ Mr. MacCollMy right hon. Friend is receiving proposals for out-of-town shopping centres. He will consider them on their merits.
