The Circular issued jointly by my Department and the Ministry of Housing and Local Government, a copy of which I am sending to the hon. Member, drew attention to the value of dual use of facilities. I hope that local education authorities, governing bodies and head teachers will do everything possible to make facilities available for outside use.
