§ Mr. PrenticeThe previous Government authorised expenditure of£18 million for 1964–65 and this figure is likely to be exceeded by between£3 million and£4 million. My right hon. Friend has authorized£21 million and is introducing revised procedure to ensure a fairer and more sensible allocation to individual authorities of the limited resources available.
