§ Mr. George ThomsonThere are a number of projects for joint research and development between the United Kingdom and France and we have great hopes of making progress in this field. Responsibility for individual projects, however, lies with the Ministers of the Departments directly concerned and there is none for which my right hon. Friend himself is directly responsible.
