§ Mr. BoydenFactories manufacturing plasterboard are spread over the whole of the United Kingdom. There is one factory in Scotland which it is estimated produces about two-thirds of the total Scottish requirements. It is not possible to distinguish between local authority and other requirements. There are no economically workable deposits of gypsum, the main ingredient of plasterboard, in Scotland but the production of plasterboard is being increased over the United Kingdom as a whole.
