HC Deb 09 March 1965 vol 708 c64W
101. Mr. Wainwright

asked the Minister of Power what has been the cost to the Government of the bulk storage of oil for the years 1960 to 1964, respectively; and what is the estimated amount for 1965.

Mr. Frederick Lee

In round figures, the cost to my Department was £2 million in 1960–61 and £1 million in 1961–62; in each of the succeeding two years it was £½ million and it will be about the same in 1964–65. The Estimate provision for 1965–66 is about £1 million.
