Member for Liverpool, Exchange, as Chairman of the Kitchen Committee, when the Special Report of the Committee's conclusions, based on the general review of the administration of the Refreshment Department, will be presented to the House; and, in view of the increase in Members' salaries and, on 1st March, the rise in the prices of meals, whether she will give priority to an increase in the wages of the catering staff.
§ Mrs. BraddockIt is too early to forecast when the Kitchen Committee will be ready to make its Special Report to the House, but I can assure the hon. Member that the wages and conditions of service of the catering staff are included in the Committee's review of administration.
