§ Mr. CroslandBetween eight and nine per cent. of the students entering the colleges fail to complete the course satisfactorily. It is estimated that a further five to six per cent. do not take up teaching posts in maintained schools after completing their training some of these take posts in non-maintained schools or in further education establishments.
