§ Mr. Joseph SlaterWe are advertising intensively for local recruits and also trying to get staff from other areas; but the labour supply is, of course, difficult through most of Greater London. Over the past three calendar years205 postmen312W have been recruited for Harrow, with a wastage—from all causes including promotion and retirement—of 200; for Pinner, in the same period, we have recruited 56 postmen, and total wastage has been 60.
