§ Mr. Staintonasked the Minister of Transport when he will reach his conclusions regarding the proposal of the Railways Board to close the East Suffolk line; and whether he will bear in mind the representations made by the hon. Member for Sudbury and Woodbridge that this should be treated as a major closure proposal.
§ Mr. Tom FraserI hope to be able to decide shortly whether or not the Board should be allowed to proceed with publishing their proposal. I shall certainly give due weight to the hon. Member's representations.
