Mr. Edward M. Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the disappearance on 10th February of Commander Peter Fickling of the submarine depôt-ship H.M.S. "Maidstone".
§ Mr. MayhewCommander Fickling failed to report for duty in his ship on the morning of Thursday, 11th February, and has not reported since. His whereabouts are unknown but detailed investigations are being carried out by the appropriate authorities. There are no security implications.
