§ Mr. MacCollThe manufacturers ceased to produce detergents from hard-based materials at the end of last year and that is a big step forward. But it is certainly not the end of the foam problem. We need a still softer detergent. My right hon. Friend is far from satisfied with the present position but the industry is continuing its researches and he will keep a close watch on progress.
