§ Mr. PeartNo. The rate of interest charged by the Corporation depends on the rate at which it can raise long-term funds by the issue of debenture stocks to cover existing and future commitments. The Corporation always endeavours to make its loans available to farmers on the most favourable terms it can and it will undoubtedly reduce its interest rate as soon as it is in a position to do so.
