§ Mr. MacCollHow best to house their community services can only be decided by the individual local authority in the light of local knowledge. So much depends on the size and type of authority concerned, the extent of needs in the area, and local conditions generally, that my right hon. Friend doubts whether it is possible to give any useful general 179W advice. He welcomes local initiative and experiment and the Department are always available for consultation in individual cases.
