HL Deb 17 June 1965 vol 267 c280WA
THE EARL OF GOSFORD

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether any further progress has been made towards the introduction of attractive, small, pictorial, definitive postage stamps.

LORD HOBSON

My right honourable friend hopes shortly to be in a position to settle the terms of an invitation which he will be sending to a number of artists inviting them to submit designs for a new definitive series. The possibility of a pictorial series is also being considered, but in a separate context.

House adjourned at twenty-eight minutes past seven o'clock.
