§ Q12. Mr. George Jegerasked the Prime Minister whether he will now make a statement on the scheme to award recognition to firms and individuals who are making substantial contributions to the United Kingdom export trade.
§ The Prime MinisterI understand that the Committee under the Chairmanship of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, which was invited to draw up a scheme for awards to industry for outstanding achievement, either in increasing exports or in technological innovation, has nearly completed its work. I hope, therefore, to be in a position to make a statement before long.
