Mr. Rhodes

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what consideration he has given to the basic recommendations of the report on student housing issued by the National Union of Students, a copy of which has been sent to him; and what action he intends to take to implement them.

This report has been noted by my Department and the University Grants Committee as a useful contribution to the problems involved in providing student residence.
