§ 44. Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will make a statement about the work so far done by the Commonwealth Exports Council.
§ Mr. JayThe Commonwealth Exports Council, which held its first meeting on the 4th March, is assisted by six Committees each covering a distinct area of the Commonwealth. These Committees, under the general co-ordination of the Council, are tackling the varying problems of the markets with which they are concerned, by the methods best suited to each. They are, for instance, carrying out market surveys, preparing inward and outward missions, and helping to organise trade fairs and displays of British goods.
