§ 79. Mr. Costainasked the Minister of Transport what proposals he has for the use of the buildings on Hawkinge airfield, comprising about 55 acres, which have been transferred to his Department from the Ministry of Defence.
§ Mr. Tom FraserI have no immediate proposals for the use of the Hawkinge buildings during the interim period until we can see whether they will be wanted for the Channel Tunnel. I am, however, exploring the possibilities of their temporary use.
