§ Mr. John MackieAs stated in paragraph 20 of the Annual Review White Paper (Cmnd. 2621), the value of the agricultural guarantees for the whole of the United Kingdom in 1964–65 was £1,519 million. This figure covers both the price 173W guarantees for commodities and the relevant production grants. There are no price support arrangements for horticulture and fisheries; assistance is given in other ways.
