§ Mr. Tom FraserCopies of this report were received in my Department at the beginning of June. As the report makes clear, more work is needed to show the contribution an outer rail loop would make to the overall transport system on Merseyside. This assessment will be made in the conurbation transportation study now beginning on Merseyside, which has my full support and assistance.
