§ Mr. RossThe Herring Industry Board employs 15.6 non-industrial staff for every hundred licensed herring fishing vessels. There can be no comparable figures for the Potato Marketing Board, because of the differences between the functions of the two Boards and the industries they serve, but I understand that the Potato Marketing Board employs 1 member of staff per hundred registered producers.
